Welcome!
This is the Trac Wiki? for Yakumo. A good place to start is the YakumoDocs folder, under the "Browse Source" menu item above.
There is a Timeline RSS feed available if you wish to subscribe to this project's progress.

"Yakumo"?
My name is Daniel Heffernan? and Yakumo is my Final Year Project. In order to give a sense of unity and identity to the various different bits of technology that make up this FYP, it needed a name, and I chose Yakumo.
What does Yakumo do?
Yakumo is the name of the technology which enables communication between iPhone OS device and desktop computer. There are two components involved in this:
- The iPhone OS device's software (such as an iPhone or an iPod Touch): YakumoRemote.
- The desktop computer's software, which incorporates the Yakumo library.
Somewhat confusingly, the first demo application is also called Yakumo. This is a Havok Physics-powered game which uses Yakumo technology to allow input from an iPhone/iPod Touch. This is in the YakumoDemo folder in the source browser.
